Angela Dawn is a photographer based out of Portland, OR. She grew up in Salem, Oregon where she fell in love with capturing life at the age of 6 when she got her first camera. 

In high school, she worked for her school newspaper where her love for shooting grew into a possible future career . Taking lunch into the darkroom she became madly in love with the process of it all. Her passion for all art forms helped start the school's first Art Club. 

Living & breathing art is what she does best. During high school summer breaks, she was accepted into the Oregon State Jumpstart Program. It's a Summer School program where you live on campus and take college credit courses. This is where she found her love for 4x5 and 8x10 large format cameras and old processes such as cyanotype, Van Dyke, and gum bichromate. 

Her achievements continued as she went to Seattle for college with a focus in the Commercial Photography program at the Seattle Art Institute.  She was awarded Best Portfolio amongst her graduating class in 2004.

Dawn has shown in over 20 art shows since the age of 16. Starting her own Gallery and Design house  "Icon INK" in Seattle, WA right out of college.  

She has worked shooting many world-class musicians and electronic music producers over the years. She has also been published and had the honor of working with many top-notch publications such as Marie Clare Magazine, Rolling Stone, and Seattle's The Stranger.  

Her goal while existing is to continue to create images full of flavor with a vest for life.

With 15 years of professional freelance experience, she enjoys shooting any style. With a keen eye for style, she has been doing her own makeup and styling for the majority of her shoots since age 16.

Whether it be editorial, music, portrait, fashion to fine art; you can trust she will capture quality images to cherish for a life time.
